Volunteer

Thinking about volunteering? Great, that's what social media is all about--getting involved. The more involved you are the more you will get out of the conference and we all sure would love YOUR help!!

You can volunteer for ANYTHING! From a small task to big one. Just let us know what you would like to do.

Here are some ideas for you...

  • You can be an organizer (Participate in planning activity meetings)
  • You can be an organizer assistant (Complete tasks created by organizers such as fundraising, promotion, logistics, t-shirt creation, banners, etc.)
  • You can donate/lend products/services (provide banners, branded t-shirts, badges, stickers, microphones, mixing boards, video equipment, i-pods, food, catering, podcast consulting, interviewing skills, podsafe music performances, mash-up...)
  • You can be a "event day helper" (putting up signs, cleaning up, directing people, making schedules, helping with badges, recording of sessions, etc.)
  • You can lead a session - Click on the sessions page for more details.

You can do whatever you want to do! Just tell us how you want to contribute!!

Suggested format: Name, email link, how you will contribute!

Rosemary Burke, rburke333@yahoo.com, I can be an event day helper - any organizer who needs help can contact me.

Phil Shapiro, pshapiro@his.com     I'm a blogger for PCWorld.com and will be blogging about my impressions of the conference. Am happy to include to links to anyone else covering the conference in text, audio, or video form.  My blog posting about the conference will likely go out on Tuesday of Wednesday of next week at http://blogs.pcworld.com/communityvoices
